The Business School has recently moved to new premises described by Sir Digby Jones, Director General of the CBI, as a 'world class learning and teaching facility'. This development combines traditional buildings and new build to provide an inspirational environment in which to work for both staff and the 2000 plus students enrolled with the school. Special consideration has been given to our MBA students and dedicated lecture theatres, seminar rooms and computer suites have been installed to enhance their learning environment. MBA students also benefit from our state-of-the-art management learning laboratory and, for those more relaxed moments, a fair-trade café. Here at the Business School we strive to provide a stimulating environment where students, managers and management researchers can come into contact with the latest business thinking. We have a highly qualified and enthusiastic staff and a cosmopolitan student body that comes to the Business School from all corners of the earth. We are also proud of our links with other well-known business schools worldwide. Our teaching has been assessed as 'excellent' (QAA, 23/24) and our research as demonstrating national and international excellence (RAE, 4C). Our research training programme has been accredited by the Economic and Social Research Council and the business school as a whole by EQUIS, the leading international system of quality assessment and improvement for business schools. These achievements and accreditations assure you of our commitment to delivering the very best in teaching quality. I hope that by reading on and learning more about the degree, our facilities and the student experience we offer, you will decide to study for the Hull MBA and use it as a passport to success in your future managerial career.
